Cliff's
Testimony
I made my commitment as a small boy by responding at a Billy
Graham rally in Wembley Stadium in 1955. Since then, I believe my faith has
grown through the passage of time and the various experiences of life; some
good, some not so good. I took my first service with the encouragement of my
parents at the age of 19. For the past 15 years, my wife and I have belonged to
Studley Baptist Church. |

Cliff's
Qualifications
Following the
completion of professional qualifications for my job, I obtained
the B U Diploma under the Christian Training Programme in 1990.
I completed a University of Wales BA (Hons) in theology at the
Birmingham Christian College in 2004. In 1991 I obtained a grade
8 in singing through the Trinity College of Music, (singing can
be useful in a church context).
I preach mainly in
churches in the South Midlands. I have also preached in various
churches during visits to East Africa.

Cliff's
Preaching Emphasis
I believe my role is mainly one of teaching. An inadequacy of
basic knowledge about Christianity is evident in some churches
today and in an age when people at large demand a greater
understanding and involvement with the issues of the day, I
think Christians should be encouraged to deepen their knowledge,
and in consequence strengthen their faith, by exploring their
beliefs more thoroughly.
