Florence's Testimony

I became a Christian at an early age, coming from a Christian background. I am a retired nurse. I know my faith is strong in the Lord and God has blessed me.

My aim is to continue serving the Lord, helping the ones who are in need, and to be a rôle model Christian. I would like someone to be able to follow in my footsteps.

Florence's Qualifications

I have over 10 years preaching experience in many churches in different areas of Birmingham

Training & qualifications: 1990s : Ministerial course tutored by the pastor of a church in Waverley Rd. NVQ Assessor (on preaching).

As a nurse I also did a 3-month very intensive NHS counselling course.

I was a Member of the Ministerial Recognition Committee of W Midland/Heart of England Baptist Association for 7 years and I am still involved in the assessment of preachers.

I also serve on the Executive Committee of the BDBPA

Florence's Preaching Emphasis

My aim is to preach in church & to be an evangelist to all age groups. I have pledged to accept opportunities to preach & lead services. I support the Pastors by leading services when needed. I am one of two evangelists in my church, and a member of the church choir. I am a House Group leader, a member of the Ladies' Fellowship, and one of the leaders for the Alpha course
