Testimony
I
was brought up an Anglican in Wombridge Parish, Telford where I was a member of
the choir. I was married in Broadmead Baptist Church, Bristol where I began to
learn about Baptist traditions during marriage preparation. I joined Harborne
Baptist Church through the waters of baptism in 1986, after having several life
changing experiences of Jesus Christ at work in my life. I am still a member at
Harborne

Qualifications
My
first experience of preaching and taking services came during an
interregnum some 15 years ago. Since then I have studied further
and have preached at Harborne and at several other churches in the
Birmingham area.

Preaching Emphasis
I
tend to use Baptist material such as BPW and Patterns &
Prayers, and Mission Praise. I like the New English Bible and Good
News Bible and am happy to investigate new insights from other
translations. I will follow your service outline where required
and can adapt to meet specific needs or provide my own structure.
IT tools are OK and modern songs fine although I have a
particular liking for Iona and Taizé hymns and songs. |
