Ron's Testimony

I became a Christian as a result of attending a Baptist Church and Sunday school and felt the call after listening to a prison visitor talking about the need for a personal decision for each of us to find a personal relationship with God through Jesus. I was baptised shortly afterwards and decided to dedicate my life to the work of bringing others to Christ. I have occupied many positions in Baptist churches and undertaken professional training in secretarial and company law, contract and procurement law and held senior positions in Local Government and National Government Commercial Company.

In all my positions I have witnessed to my faith and brought others to a knowledge of Christ.

I have been a member at Sutton Coldfield B C, Henley In Arden B C, Stratford upon Avon B C, Bearwood B C. At this church I was a deacon, Church Secretary (17 years) and deputised for the Minister during prolonged period of indifferent health.

Ron's Preaching Emphasis

I am familiar with all types of worship from structured devotion using Baptist Praise and Worship to other types of worship.

I find preaching challenging and educational, as well as developing my relationship with God and people. The visiting of other churches helps me have a vision of our denomination as well as others (Brethren, C of E, URC, Methodist, Salvation Army, Elim Pentecostal and others.)
